Wildridge Announces New, State-of-the-Art Amenity Center, “The Hideaway”

DALLAS (Nov. 6, 2019) Wildridge, a 340-acre master-planned community developed by Ashlar Development in Oak Point, is pleased to announce construction is underway on The Hideaway, a new luxury amenity center with extensive outdoor and event space for residents. The Hideaway will feature a three-acre fully stocked fishing pond, 960-square-foot covered event pavilion, expansive indoor and outdoor seating areas, festoon lighting, dock overlooks, an outdoor kitchen, fire pits and more. The amenity center is scheduled to open in early 2020.

Building off of the guiding principles of Wildridge, the design team has utilized local materials to stitch the amenities into the fabric of this native environment. Nestled within the existing trees lies the main building, offering residents a sanctuary while experiencing the outdoors. The design team is a collaboration of Dallas-based Larson & Pedigo Architects and landscape architecture services provided by Kimley-Horn.

Additional updates coming soon to Wildridge in the first half of 2020 include continued improvements and expansions on the community’s seven-mile trail network and new parks.

Wildridge recently welcomed Pulte Homes and Chesmar Homes to an esteemed roster of homebuilders available for homebuyers, joining American Legend Homes, Highland Homes and Plantation Homes, with prices ranging from the $300s – $700s. Pulte and Chesmar model homes are now open, and combined, the builders will introduce more than 100 move-in ready homes to the community by late 2020.

Wildridge is a top-selling community in the Dallas area and experienced a 15% net sales increase and an 800% traffic increase from Q3 2018 to Q3 2019. The community is currently home to 750 residents in 360 homes with 700 remaining lots available.

In addition to convenient access to the Lake Lewisville waterfront, residents savor a walking trail at The Point on the waterfront with direct shoreline access, where they can relax and enjoy the views.
