Blake Cohen joined Ashlar Development as an Associate. He is responsible for providing financial and market analysis and reporting on existing projects, identifying and underwriting potential acquisitions, and assisting with project management. His background is in commercial development and property management. Blake was previously based in Denver, Colorado, working for a regional developer on various projects including a chain of self-storage facilities, co-working spaces, and boutique retail. There he oversaw acquisitions including sourcing, underwriting, and implementation strategy.

Blake is a Texas native, born and raised in Austin. He graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a dual Bachelor’s in real estate and strategic entrepreneurship.
