Ashlar Development hired Royce Brooks Jr. as Sales and Marketing Operations Manager for its Houston office. In his new role, Brooks will be responsible for content development and implementation to help drive traffic to The Groves home community in northeast Houston.

His duties will include website content development and maintenance, as well as the planning and implementation of residential and commercial sales plans, which include builder/buyer identification, market segmentation, product development and sales goals. Brooks’ responsibilities will also include generating quality leads for sales staff, ongoing Realtor© outreach, and continuous contact and communication with Ashlar’s internal and external clients.

Brooks comes to Ashlar Development from CalAtlantic Homes, where he was Sales and Marketing Coordinator. In that position, he oversaw daily marketing operations for the entire 43-community Houston division, spearheading CalAtlantic’s website content creation and management, and digital and print campaigns. Brooks also assisted with community marketing and sales efforts through installation of model merchandising, technology, equipment and monument signs.

A Houston native, Brooks graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in management.
